The wife has been identified as 30yrs old Cynthia Vechel, a Congolese national and a club dancer in Congo. She had been living with her husband in Hyderabad since 2012.
According to police, Mr Mohanani and his wife were having frequent quarrels over financial matters as he had suffered losses in stock market. He was also suspicious that she was sleeping with other men, claiming she frequently chatted with her male friends through the social media.
They had a fight in the early hours of Sunday July 4th in their flat in Gachibowli. "In a fit of rage he throttled her neck and killed her brutally. With an intent to screen out the evidence, he cut the body of deceased into pieces with knife, a hammer and an axe, placed them in a bag and left the house in a car to dispose the dead body," said a Deputy Commissioner of Police.
Mr Mohanani had gone to Congo in 1999 and was working as a salesman in a departmental store. He used to visit a club for entertainment, where he met Cynthia in 2006. They fell in love and married in 2008. The couple came to India in 2012 and had applied for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. Police have booked Mr Mohanani for murder and for causing disappearance of evidence. The Congolese Embassy in Delhi has been informed about the incident. What a sad end for this beautiful lady!
Cynthia Kadima had a full time job in a chic boutique in Kinshasa and she was a model too, before she knew her husband to be. In every other article on the net, they portray her as a club dancer and him as a businessman. When she had lot going on for her in Congo.
ReplyDeletePer her younger sister, the men family did not want him to marry her since she was an African and they did even got him incarcerated for 1 year and a half so he can give up on her but he did not want to let her go and, she was the one who got him released. And chassed her for 4 years and she finally accepted him and they got married.
Four years after, they went to live in India, that's where her ordeal begins, her husband parents did not like her, they kept pressure their son to marry an Indian girl, herself she started asking for divorce and he did not want to let go until and he ended up killing her while their little girl was sleeping in another room. In, Congo, especially when you are the first born you need to set up a good example for the younger siblings and for the entire family. She was the first born and the things the media are saying about her being a club dancer that's no sense. only because she was African and with all that is going in DR Congo other countries and people think that's a part of Congolese culture which is not the truth. If it was the Kasavubu and Lumumba era even Mobutu era, all none of that will be happening in Congo or to the Congolese people. In May 2016, a younger men a student/professor got killed by stoning, he was in his 2oth and now, Cynthia, before him, there was another Congolese boy that was killed. Lot of Africans in India, got killed just for being Africans and get scammed too by schools over there. There is no government in Congo, the so-called government it's an imposture, an occupation. The so-called "Kabila" is not even a Congolese doesn't respect Congolese nor the country but he is good in looting and letting anyone coming to Congo to loot like he does. They kill Congolese in East Congo, in Congo Brazzaville, Angola, India, China etc. he never says a word. So, Cynthia was not a club dancer as it says by some and her husband was not rich when he came to Congo. Let be clear in that.
