Fatal Accident as Truck Falls on Loaded Buses, Many Dead in Lagos

This day has suddenly turned into a very black Sallah for many families as a big truck said to be carrying a 40ft container in the day time, as against Lagos State government regulations, lost control, hit a section of the culvert and fall, landing on some already loaded buses.

The tragic accident happened this morning at Alakija Bus Stop in Lagos.

YourGist247.Com gathered that some passengers and drivers have been confirmed dead, it's a gory scene.

I wonder why these guys driving such heavy trucks can't just stick to the order of the Lagos State government which had mandated them to only be on the roads in the state at certain period from night to early morning when roads are relatively free? 

Emergency personnel have been mobilized to the scene for rescue operation.
