AHMAD SALKIDA REVEALED: I won't be surprise, and will be happy if Gwoza town is retaken tomorrow but surely, it was not reclaimed this morning as the NA declared. - source: @contactsalkida
Since early Friday, the Nigerian Military leadership has been claiming that they have captured the headquarters of Boko Haram sect, Gwoza in Borno State. But around 14:30 hours on Friday, Channels TV spoke to their female correspondent in Borno State and she said the people in the state don't have any information about the capture of Gwoza from the dreaded Boko Haram.
Also, take a closer look to the picture above and you will see that the location is different. OluFamous.Com observed that the signboard is placed inside a gutter in a different location and two other soldiers are standing behind to hold the signboard so it doesn't fall. Look well and you will see the legs of the two soldiers at the back.
What is really going on here? Why is the government in a hurry to claim they have captured Gwoza without any information about Shekau or the Chibok girls? Who is fooling who?
I don't know how true, but the female Channels TV correspondent in Borno State also said that at present, Boko Haram still controls many local government areas of the state. But what we have been hearing is that Gwoza is the last town and Boko Haram has been flushed from there on Friday.
Is someone trying to deceive and confuse Nigerians ahead of the presidential election?
