A fight between a couple had a tragic ending after they both fell into a pit latrine in their area and, sadly, they died instantly.

They had separated after the man accused the woman of cheating on him with a another guy. According to News Every House, trouble started when the man met his woman on his way to work at about 6am early on Sunday, July 3.

The man asked her where she was coming from that early, she could not provide any answer and a fight broke out between them.

In the madness the ensured, the couple started chasing after each other before falling into the deep pit.

Residents of Kangemi milled at the site of the tragedy until the Nairobi City County fire brigade came but it was too late, they merely retrieved the lifeless bodies of the "cat and mouse" lovers. Sad end!
