UPDATE: Niger Delta Avengers Blow Up NNPC Pipeline in Akwa Ibom today

So the mindless bombings have extended from the Ijaw areas to Akwa Ibom. The Niger Delta Avengers has announced a new attack on NNPC pipeline in Akwa Ibom?


In a tweet on Thursday, June 15, 2016 the militants claimed responsibility for the blowing up at about “4.00am on an NNPC pipeline in Oruk Anam Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom”.

This is the first time the so called Avengers would attack an oil installation outside the Ijaw area.
