FORUM OF CHAPTER CHAIRMEN REAFFIRMS CONFIDENCE ON COMRADE LINCOLN CHARLES AS THIER LEADER

The forum of chapter chairmen under the platform of Labour Party in Akwa Ibom State has passed a vote of confidence on their erstwhile  State Chairman Comrade Lincoln Charles.

The forum stated this in a meeting held over the weekend in Essien Udim at the residence of the chair of chair -Hon. Mike Idio who doubles as the Essien Udim chapter chairman of Labour Party.  Addressing the general forum, Hon. Mike Idio described the outright dismissal of their erstwhile chairman as a kangaroo arrangement lacking in all ramifications in legal jurisprudence and party guidelines. He condemns the party leadership at the apex of ineptitude, corruption and incompetence. He further stress that the leadership of Labour Party is an assemblage of bad eggs with no aim or future of survival;

"We are challenging the prefix of constitutionality  of which Ekeng Anamdu  was made the state interim chairman without congress;  how can a man who has not registered with Labour Party became a member of the party or the state Chairman? He further submitted that he is fully in support of redressing the subject of assassination of character and impersonation which was perpetuated by one Mr. Etim Stern along with the national secretary which resulted to the illegal expulsion of our amiable leader as the State the chairman" Mr. Idio Added.

Also speaking was the chapter chairman of Ikono, Comrade  Ini Ukpong Ekanem, " We the forum of chapter chairmen wish to understand the criteria of jurisdiction of which our leader ( Comrade Lincoln Charles ) was removed as the State Chairman of Labour Party at the prime of his office without proper congress conducted". We are sending this note of warning to the National Leadership of Labour Party to desist from aligning with persons of immoral rectitude and questionable characters parading themselves as leader of Labour Party in Akwa Ibom State. However, the forum of chapter chairmen is giving an ultimatum of seven days to the national chairman / Leadership of labour party to reinstates comrade Lincoln Charles as the dully elected and recognise state chairman of Labour Party in Akwa Ibom State. 

In a unanimous decision to demonstrate their confidence under the leadership of Comrade Lincoln Charles as the recognised legally elected State chairman of Labour Party, a motion was moved by the  Publicity Secretary of the Forum ( Michael Okon Edet) who frowned at the manner through which Lincoln was ousted reaffirming the legal status of Comrade Lincoln Charles as their Leader and was was seconded by Chapter Chairman of Eastern Obolo.
