Did GLO really send a rickety truck to pick Wizkid and his team at Enugu Airport?

Months ago, Wizkid dumped MTN for their rival, GLO, after an undisclosed misunderstanding, and the superstar has since been promoting his new brand, especially with the ongoing GLO Slide and Bounce events spread across the country.

Yesterday, the Star Boy artiste and his team flew to Enugu for another round of concert, but on arriving at the Akanu Ibiam Airport, Wizkid and his team were surprised to learn that their pickup waiting at the airport was a rickety, over-branded truck, the type mainly used for street sales/promotions.

NET newspapers reports that Wizkid calmly climbed into the truck, but one of his aides refused the ride and instead, chattered a cab, got out their luggage which had been stuffed in the back of the truck, and they left the airport, leaving their ‘official’ pickup behind.

It is unclear if the ‘lowkey’ request was made by Wizkid himself who is famous for travelling with much fanfare, but NET also reports that their pickup had no security details; it was just the driver.

And this prompts the question: Did GLO reps in Enugu really send out just a truck and a driver to pick up a star like Wizkid?
