Saraki In Trouble: EFCC Summons his Wife, others over Fraud

May if Bukola Saraki had taken his time to think, he would have just remained a senator and not to corner the office of the Senate President at all cost. Now he has attracted too much attention to his family.

The EFCC has gone after his wife, Toyin Saraki, for questioning over alleged shady contracts during the tenure of her husband as the governor of Kwara State.

Saraki’s wife is billed to be grilled by EFCC interrogators on July 28.

Also, the daughter of the late former President Umaru Yar’Adua, who is also the wife of an ex-Governor of Kebbi State, Mrs. Zaina Dakingari, was said to have been invited by the anti-graft agency. She is expected to be grilled a day before that of Saraki's wife.

Mrs Dakingari is expected to answer questions on the alleged misappropriation of N2bn state funds.

On her part, Toyin Saraki was said to be under probe in relation to several contracts executed by companies said to be linked to her while her husband held sway as the governor of Kwara State.
