2015: Middle Belt Youth still undecided, condemn attack on Jonathan's campaign bus

The Middle Belt Youth Vanguard condemned the attack on President Jonathan Campaign Bus in Jos Plateau State, the Youth Group described such an attack as uncivilised and barbaric and called for politics of maturity and tolerance. They say the action which was allegedly carried out by that Fulani dominating part of Plateau state is not acceptable.

The Youth Vanguard, who also called on the region to speak in one voice ahead of the forthcoming general election, has vowed to speak in one voice in the interest of the region.

In a communique issued after a meeting in Lafia, Nasarawa State, the group come out in one voice, promising to play a key role in the elections. On the issue of whose candidate to support, the group promised to make it stand known any moment from now.

"We will go for the candidate that is youth friendly, the candidate that will empower youth and take the development of the region paramount."

The Middle Belt Youth Vanguard also advised it teeming members across the Middle Belt state to educates their people on the need to collect their PVC from the INEC. 
 
The MBYV also advised it members not to allow themselves being used by politicians for selfish reason. It asked members to shun any elements of thuggery and others social vices. 
 
The MBYV also condemned the recent attacked on southern Kaduna, Kogi, Taraba and Plateau states by the Fulani Herdsmen, and advised the middle belt governors to, as a matter of urgency, put in place the mechanism to checkmate and put an end to such attacks.

It advised that what happened in 2011 where violence erupted after the election shouldn't be allow to reoccur and also commended the efforts of the security operatives in the war against insurgency.
